South of Africa takes pride in developing skills and to deliver committed well trained employees to the public we serve. Under the guidance of Sondela Academy we have rolled out our Work Skills Plan which has been meet with great enthusiasm by our staff.
General Manager of Shangri-La, Ken Strydom, reported that “we are currently training our staff on Creative Problem Solving to find a solution to our difficulties and challenges in the work place. Our current case study is Waste Disposal Management which has been driven very hard by all concerned to leave a better greener more aesthetically appealing environment for our Children.” The progamme is proving beneficial not only to our staff, but also to our valuable guests and the environment.
